The more than century-old history of African-Americans performing on the Great White Way is on track for a banner year - with a slew of new productions due out and the creation today of an iconic group photo of black Broadway theater professionals.
Theater veteran Chapman Roberts has been flooded with commitments and expects about 200 African American singers, actors, dancers, directors, choreographers, publicists and other theater professionals to take part in the "Black Stars of The Great White Way" photo shoot.
