Tom, Below is a link to a You Tube video that summarizes the history of how we got to where we are today. The data point I found particularly interesting is how many years of the combined salary of all 80,000 NYC teachers it takes to get the equivalent of one year's salary for the number 1 top paid hedge fund manager in 2007. Our problem is not just that this happened, our problem is that the situation today is not much different. This is unsustainable, as a country we will reap what we sow.
