Community Healing Network, Inc., (CHN)founded in New Haven, CT, in 2006, to build a movement for the psychological liberation of black people, will be presenting an Mbongi Plenary Session at the Association of Black Psychologists Convention on Friday, July 29, 10 AM-11:50 AM, along with Tom Burrell, author of Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority.

Our goal is to build a collaboration with the community of black psychologists to make this the decade of emotional emancipation for black people.

CHN is working with Tom Burrell's Resolution Project (RP) to build a movement to overturn the myth of black inferiority. RP is leading in the “air war,” to reverse ongoing mass media stereotypes and negative race-based conditioning. CHN is leading in the “ground war,” to build a nationwide network of self-help groups focused on emotional emancipation and healing for black people.
