The briefing is sponsored by the Health Policy Institute (HPI) of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, in collaboration with the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. Lunch will be provided.
What: A briefing on “Place Matters for Health. The briefing will: a) explore how communities shape health outcomes; b) share research findings from work in several communities; and c) examine how policy strategies and community-oriented solutions can lead to significant gains in health outcomes.&
