National Prevention Strategy « Safe Routes to School in California: "The National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council recently released the National Prevention Strategy: America’s Plan for Better Health and Wellness with the goal of guiding the nation in the most effective and achievable direction for improving Americans’ health and well-being. As Americans currently can expect to live to their latter 70s, but only 69 years in good health, the strategy aims to “increase the number of Americans who are healthy at every stage of life.”"
