IndiVisible: African-Native American Lives in the Americas

As we approach the July 4th celebrations, at the risk of beating a dead horse,
and or driving an old point home in a Pontiac on the way to Quinnipiac Country
as the Mohegan Sun sets and rises in Connecticut, From an Indian word (Quinnehtukqut) meaning “beside the long tidal river”.
There is something continually inauthentic. Not that history can be reversed.

But I would suggest just to read about the King Phillip's War of 100 years prior
to perhaps place the  1776 political
maneuver into the appropriate long arch of the continuum.
