Located on land donated by the Burroughs Community Center in Bridgeport's West End, this unique urban-suburban partnership is creating a new Clubhouse that will bring nationally acclaimed Boys & Girls Clubs of America programs to more than 1,000 Bridgeport children in grades three through 12, with an anticipated daily attendance of 225. The 23,000 square foot facility was built with $7 million in private donations and will necessitate a $600,000 annual fundraising effort to sustain operations.
