Demos at Netroots Nation

Demos is teaming up with The American Prospect to host a panel at this year's Netroots Nation conference in Minneapolis (June 16th-19th), called "Obama, the Tea Party and 2012: The Role of Race in Electoral Politics." The panel, featuringRepresentative Donna Edwards (D-MD), Voto Latino Executive Director Maria Teresa Kumar, and journalist and blogger Cord Jefferson, will examine how racial discourse plays into the messaging and framing of American political campaigns. This event is tied to The American Prospect's special report, Colorblinded, co-published by Demos.
