 At 24 years old, Ashley Smith is living with schizophrenia. She's spreading awareness about the mental illness by sharing her experience through her nonprofit organization, Embracing My Mind, that provides peer support, advocacy, and education to low-income and homeless individuals living with serious mental illnesses. |
