Bishop Rosazza was the best friend of Father Howard Nash and joined him, as well as other community leaders such as Rabbi Brockman and Reverend Grubbs, in several neighborhood initiatives such as boycotting K-Mart for selling guns and organizing neighborhood greeting committees for new scatter-site housing residents in Morris Cove. He has also been a tireless advocate for the Spanish-speaking immigrant community. This is the New Haven community’s opportunity to honor the work of Bishop Rosazza prior to his relocation to Bloomfield.
