The Yale Black Men's Union presented it's annual tribute to Black Women Friday March 25, 2011 at the Omni Hotel. Emerging trailblazers award recipients were Rhiana Gunn-Wright, Ivuoma Onyeador and Kayla Vinson. The distinquished Alumna award was presented to Dr. Tricia Rose and the Woman of the Year and keynote speaker was Carla Harris. The Yale Black Men's Union was founded in the fall or 2007. What a superb tradition !
