Grassroots Mobilization Message
Thank you for your commitment and leadership to prevent and end homelessness in Connecticut. Our advocacy committee has met and identified legislative targets for our fight to support affordable housing and end homelessness. The committee has agreed to target legislators from specific geographic areas in particular weeks during the session.
The idea is to gather as many of us, our town leadership, board, clients, ministers or other representatives to visit together at a homelessness/housing “meet up” at the LOB or call, or email the same group of legislators in any given week. Just three focused calls in one week to one group of legislators to keep the fight visible would go a long long way to building momentum and support during this difficult budget year and in the years ahead. Please join us, and bring a friend.
