Kristin duBay Horton has been transitioning into her new job as health and human services director and looks forward to implementing the many ideas she has in mind for the city she has called home for the past 11 years.
Mayor Bill Finch appointed her to the post, effective Jan. 31. “Kristin’s appointment represents a new way of thinking for how we deliver health and social services in the city of Bridgeport,” Finch said. “Kristin’s commitment to the community and her outreach skills make her an excellent fit to lead the department.”
DuBay Horton, 41, has a bachelor’s degree in African-American studies and modern cultural anthropology from Yale University and a master’s degree in public health from Boston University’s School of Public Health
