Recently he was appointed by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office, formerly known as the State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance (SOMWBA).
Upon acceptance, Nunnally took the position that minorities needed more than just certification to become entrepreneurs. Currently, the Office goes further and encourages minority- and women-owned small businesses to effectively compete in the Massachusetts economy.
