Ficklin Media Note: I am somewhat offended by the language motif utilized by Tim Wise in this article, for I am in the main an admirer of his work. BuIn my opinion, regardless of whether one is a conservative or liberal thought leader, the future of America is at stake. Our wealth , regardless of whether it was stolen, inherited, manufactured, purloined, borrowed or earned is eroding dramatically. The country is becoming sicker , fatter and less bright. Innovation, creativity and imagination is thriving elsewhere and dwindling here in the good old US of A. The current trend demographics point toward and overwhelming black and brown population for years to come. The white minority can rule as they did in South Africa or the government can become truly multiracial. But, it might not become more important than a can of Heinz baconbeans if we do not collectively recognize our decaying state and act as if we truly understand the state of emergency that confronts us all.
