New Brooklyn school Mott Hall Bridges Academy to give kids 'Internet smarts'

Math, science, geography, Twitter - that's the curriculum envisioned by the creators of a new after-school program that helps teens navigate social networking.
Launched this week at a Brooklyn middle school, the classes teach kids to avoid cyberbullies, protect their privacy and properly present themselves online.
Created after Principal Nadia Lopez was injured in a fight that started online last year, the Social Media for Kids class is already gaining interest around the country.
