Skirball Center for the Performing Arts - New York University
Generations of listeners have long embraced the music of Jamaican singer/songwriter Ziggy Marley, who was immersed in music as a child when he sat in on recording sessions with his father, reggae legend Bob Marley. Over the years, his work has proven his versatility and universality as an artist.

As front man of The Melody Makers, Ziggy released eight best-selling albums generating three Grammys, with such chart-topping hits as Tomorrow People and Tumbling Down. Ziggy's solo debut, Dragonfly, was released in 2003 and featured such artists as Flea and John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as Mike Einziger and DJ Kilmore of Incubus. Ziggy's second solo release, Love Is My Religion, won a Grammy and much critical acclaim in 2006.

This evening performance is suitable for ages 14 and up.
