Please attend the August 25th event - Dignity in Schools Conference discussion about School Discipline, NCLB, School to Prison Pipeline and Civil Rights
Our children, especially Black Males are being stripped of their dignity in a BIG way. The Black Community must come together and do right by OUR children. Have we given up on our children? We cannot say we LOVE God and ignore the needs of our young ones. Let us stop judging and begin to encourage and lift each other up...oh what a difference a word of HOPE can make :)
Do we ignore the needs of our children in the community because we have a problem with their parents or where they live? Children can not choose their Parents but WE can choose who we elect to speak on our behalf at the State Local and Federal level. WE must VOTE!! The issues on the table for black communities EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT and the LEGAL system. SEE YA THERE!
