Car washes, lemonade stands, paper boys (oops no longer), well anyway somethings are common place or at least used to be common place.What is rare and what will always be rare it seems, is dedication, persistance and firm belief.How is society doing these days in passing down those values to the up and coming generations? You can answer that question for yourself, but hat's off to the New Haven NAACP Youth Council and to their adult mentors. They know that the dream can become true. We just have to live it by action, deed and word.

We extend a special thanks to The Ficklin Media Group for your continued support. Today was a great day, the youth council members were awesome and worked really hard. They washed close to 50 cars!
