SECOND ANNUAL NAT TURNER DAY WEEKEND CELEBRATION

It’s that time again. Afrikans from around the country are preparing to converge on Philadelphia, PA. Khildren of Southampton (KOS), our Sister organization, is throwing their 2nd Annual Nat Turner Day Weekend Celebration. This year’s celebration is from Friday August 20, 2010 – Sunday August 22, 2010.

You want to make this event and bring your entire Black family. Not only will there be Afrikan Nationalist brother and sisterhood; but there will be a film screening on the horrors of slavery, dynamic Black empowerment lectures, an Afrikan Insurrection Muzikal (AIM), and a live AIM concert with a live band. The total cost of all of the activities for the weekend is $50 for adults and $25 for children and elders.
