Selva finds perfect fit at Orange Hills (video) Connecticut: "Although Orange Hills is a public facility, Selva will still be able continue what he did as head pro at Race Brook. That includes his involvement with Special Olympics and the Connecticut Section PGA Foundation, where he serves as president, and his ability to give lessons and develop both women’s and junior programs at his new place of employment. It starts in earnest Saturday.
A junior golf clinic will be held 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Orange Hills. Along with Jeff Beale, the head pro there, Selva will fit beginners and advanced juniors with new clubs and get them involved in a summer league and inter-club matches with kids from other public courses. Admission is free.
“We are inviting kids from all over the area. I’d love to have 200 kids show up,” Selva said. “Any youngster not a member of a private club can come here. Every kid will walk out of here with a golf club. It’s great for the golf course because kids growing up are the future of our game.”"
