NEW HAVEN — While municipal budgets continue to chip away at arts education funding, there are organizations that spend every day trying to make sure that schoolchildren learn that the arts can often change a life.
Young Audiences Arts for Learning CT (YAC), based in Hamden, happens to be one of those organizations. Employing more artists than any other organization in the state, it’s been doing so for 30 years, a milestone it will celebrate with a gala Thursday at 6 p.m. at Amarante’s Sea Cliff.
