On April 10, Precision Plus Communications presented a new format to improve networking at its monthly Pitches for Breakfast, an open mic forum for women of Pan-African descent (African, African American, Caribbean, and Latino) at the beautiful Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem, located at 258 St. Nicholas Avenue. While the pitchers are usually limited to women, this month every one was asked to pitch including men, the judges, keynote speaker and audience members.
The market-changing event featured Tren’ness Woods-Black, president of Tren’ness Woods-Black, Inc and granddaughter of famed restaurateur Sylvia Woods, founder and owner of Sylvia’s Restaurant who delivered the keynote address o

n her experiences and insights on the affects of personal image in the past and in today’s society.

“I’m a breakfast lover and having Pitches for Breakfast Saturday, fed my mind, body, and soul with great dialogue and advice that I am already putting to use,” said Woods-Black.
