About the Authors
Herb Boyd, Thomas Bradshaw, Charles Ellison, Major Owens
Herb Boyd teaches African and African-American history at the College of New Rochelle in the Bronx, and is an adjunct instructor at City College of New York in the Black Studies Department. He's an award-winning journalist and author of 17 books. For more information on Mr. Boyd, visit www.cnr.edu.
Thomas Bradshaw is a playwright and Guggenheim Fellow. He's author of "Strom Thurmond is Not a Racist," "All But Forgotten," "Revelation," and "Job," among others.
Charles Ellison is host of The New School on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio and author of "Tantrum." He's written for The Huffington Post, TheRoot.com, The Arena at Politico.com and Politics magazine’s “Campaign Insider.” He's also contributed to The Washington Post, The Washington Times, Roll Call and The Hill, among others.
Major Owens is a former U..S Representative from New York's 11th District. He's a professor, writer and librarian.
