NATIVE AMERICAN ARTS FESTIVAL AT YALE

http://www.joanneshenandoah.com/Welcome/WELCOME.html
Joanne Shenandoah was one of the featured artists at the Native American Arts Festival held at Yale University on Saturday, April 10, 2010. I still find it awkward to refer to the people who lived , died, loved, fought, prayed , sang, hunted, shouted, danced and cried at Native Americans. There were vibrant nations ,confederations, cultures and languages on this continent long before 1776 and long before 1492. The acclaimed Joanne Shenandoah as mentioned was a featured performer and it was my pleasure and in person blessing to hear her. Time can really play with the mind and ancestral memories can emerge at any moment. As we journey on whatever part of the reservation called earth can we honor those that have come before?
