Mr Jerry Vertelas, owner of 517 Dixwell Avenue the property that burnt down over the week was one of my clients. My heart goes out to Mr. Vertelas along with the tenants who are now displaced, in shelters and lost all of there personal belongs.
We will be receiving household donations for the people displaced due to the fire. Please keep in mind that these people lost everything; therefore, everything from furniture to bedding to silverware will be accepted as long as it is clean and in good condition.
The donation location is Christian Training and Healing Center located at 131 Bristol Street between the hours of 12:00pm and 7:00pm starting tomorrow Tuesday, April 20th - Friday, April 23th.
