Triple Double Sporting Apparel is the brainchild of Phillip Richardson and born through his experiences as a young Black man growing up on the rough streets of New Haven’s Hill Section. It was on these same streets and places like the Albie Booth Boys Club where he began playing basketball and received his degree in the school of Hard Knocks as he learned the best ways navigating the negativity that imprisoned and destroyed the lives of many of his peers.
