Geoffrey Fletcher, a 1988 graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, has been nominated for an Academy Award.
Fletcher received a nomination for "Adapted Screenplay" for his work on the movie "Precious," based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire. The 82nd Academy Awards will air March 7 on ABC.He is pictured here during a fall screening of "Precious" at Yale during the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Afro-American Cultural Center at Yale. This is a pleasant 'shout out " to a fellow alum.
