This Is My Africa is AfricaLab’s first major project. Made in association with the Africa Centre, This Is My Africa is an award-winning 50-minute documentary that uses the memories, tastes and views of 20 London-based Africans and Africaphiles to weave a very different view of the continent. Featuring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Yinka Shonibare, MBE and Jon Snow amongst others, the film has been shown in festivals and special screenings across the UK, Europe, USA and Africa.
