Join us for this free event to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King
10 yr. old Damian Henderson of Artistik Xpressions, a serious student who has done thorough research into the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, will perform as Dr. Martin Luther King.
You will be able to peer into what Dr. King would have thought as a child, a teenager, and an adult. The program is followed by an arts & craft activities. Celebrate Mr. King’s legacy with the New Haven Free Public Libraries this January!

Artistik Xpressions…
Amateur Youth Drama Group is a group of children and young adults who meet one day during the school week to express their creativity through the performing arts.
Members learn to memorize and carry out lines, bring out emotions, and learn basic drama techniques. Members also create their own written pieces in the program. Auditions are announced before new projects.
