I have covered fashion shows in St Marten, Martinique, NYC Fashion Week and elsewhere but last last night's Excentraglam competed quite nicely. Sometimes, right in our little old GPS spec on the planet , we can embrace visual jewels and last night was no exception. For you cultural and artistic explorers, it is worth noting that we can cast down our buckets where we are and find gold in them thar hills.

at Artspace .Artspace celebrated the Anniversary of Underground, Artspace’s monthly program, which brings you the best bands, performance artists, and event coordinators. Artspace Underground is New Haven’s coolest art-themed party, which celebrates the contemporary urban lifestyle. In conjunction with ListenToLife Event Planning & Management, Artspace featured the designs of fourteen fashion designers, local boutiques, and several stylists from MUD Cosmetology School of New York and Brio Academy of Hamden.
Nikki Ewing of AccesoRehab, models performed a live gestural performance while displaying earrings and sitting on pedestals. The runway walk featured the constructions of thirteen designers and boutiques: ., Bobby Graham, , Academy Printwear, Triple L Society, Laura Marsh, Madison Moore, Esaul by Carlos Rodriguez,Enclave ,Fashionistas, Sani Auri by Carmen Veal, Tia Lynn Waters, Tru Kullaz, and Neville’s Design Studio.
