The CHAIN Fund's 1st Children's Breakfast and a Movie on Saturday, December 12, 2009 was a resounding success. Many congrats to Kelly Turner and her crew of committed sojourners. They recognize that freedom from disease, freedom from fear and freedom from inequities can be bought only with dedication, sharing and perseverance. This fundraiser to wage a victorious war against breast cancer captured the correct formula. Healthy families, intact families, dream seeking and dream showing families are a key ingredient. Little girls are impressionable needless to say and every opportunity to further solidify their nascent dreams can not be missed. Hollywood is a dream factory but the family must be the daily dream to reality maker. The 1st Children's Breakfast and a Movie, builds upon the CHAIN Fund's previous breakfast and movie endeavors. What a perfect inaugural choice to enjoy together Disney's Princess and the Frog at the Cinema in North Haven.
