The Second Annual Prince Hall Friends & Family Day will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 29 at Goffe Street Park. The event, sponsored by Widow’s Son Lodge #1, Oriental Lodge #6, King Solomon Lodge #23, and OES-Eureka Chapter No. 2, will include free food, games, gifts, raffles, and fun for everyone, organizers said. There also will be live entertainment, basketball, a softball tournament, a voter registration drive, drill teams and step competition. Later in the evening there will be a follow up celebration of the Prince Hall PHAmily Masonic accomplishments throughout the year with a party at the Community Outreach Center starting at 9 pm tickets are $15 for this affair. All vendors are welcome.
