NEW HAVEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS HOSTS FREE BACK-TO-SCHOOL RALLY
NEW HAVEN – All students and parents of the New Haven community are invited to kick off the school year with New Haven Public Schools at a “Back-to-School Rally” on Saturday, August 29th from 11a.m. to 2p.m. The event will be held, rain or shine, at the New Haven Athletic Center which is next to Hillhouse High School at 480 Sherman Parkway in New Haven.
Mayor John DeStefano, Jr. and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Reginald Mayo will be special guests to the event. In addition to information about school and community services, there will be games and activities, giveaways of school supplies and other necessities, and all attendees will be provided with food, drinks, and fun for free!
