I finished my gtrowing up in Newhallville on Shelton, Shepard, Thompson and Dixwell after moving into New Haven from North Haven. I was amazed to see so many of the old friends, sweet thangs, buddies and homeboys that I rolled with back-in-the-day. The history that you caught in your digital frames will be recorded in history. Thank you for the memories from all of us who roamed from Newhallville, to Charlie's Dog House to Dixwell and Webster. I worked at Bar-be-cute on Dixwell and Webster as a teenager before the Elks Club was built across the street. Again, thanks for making our history a recorded part of New Haven histort.
