Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Programs, Inc. Special Program
Sending your child off to college can be a very scary experience for some parents. Where will my child go if she gets sick? How can I send money to her so she can buy her books? Where is the nearest Police Station? How far is the airport from campus? Who watches over her in the dorms? How am I going to afford to bring her home during the holidays?
All of these questions, plus many more, will run through your mind a million times during your child's years in college.
That is why a group of parents who have experienced the above and Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Programs, Inc. along with Gateway Community College have put together a "PARENT SYMPOSIUM" to help answer some of your questions and concerns.
This the first time we are presenting such an event and would love for you to attend and share with family and friends.
The event is for Parents only. It does not matter if you are sending your child to school for the first time or the third time.
We invite you all! (Grandparents and Caregivers too!)
Hope to see you all there!
Refreshments will be served!
