Dear Potential Sponsor:
LEAP is an academic and social enrichment program for children and youth
ages 7 to 23 that work to develop the strengths and talents of young leaders
by creating and implementing community-based programming designed to help
children living in high poverty urban neighborhoods.
In efforts to continue towards the mission, this year LEAP is eager to ask
community members and leaders to help sponsor 17 LEAP participants who will
be attending college in the Fall. With your help, these deserving students
will be able to begin their quest for higher education and begin their
journey. All donations will go towards the cost of books, a care package,
and/ or a gift certificate to the schools bookstore.
A celebration will be held in honor of these exemplary seniors on Sunday,
August 2, 2009 at 4:00pm in the Roslyn Milstein Meyer LEAP Community
Center's Gymnasium.
