Buffalo Soldiers Reburied at National Cemetery

From Crispus Attucks to Barack Obama, Black men have served and are serving this country before its birth in 1776. When the first African socio-political-economic captive arrived to serving beer ( let's hope it is sugar hill) in the White House, this stony and blood stained road has led from the interior of the continent that birthed human kind to Pennsylvania Avenue.These Buffalo Soldiers ( see below) like the CT Colored Descendants of Black Men who fought and died in the Civil War remind us what the term patriotic really means. Let's toast today to not only the elusive goal of racial harmony but also to the elusive goal of justice for all.
