Give Back the Love --- We're Lighting the Candle to Lead the Way

The Concerned Citizens for the Greater New Haven Dixwell Community "Q" house honored the memory of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. on the 41st anniversary of his assassination on April 4, 2009 at the Dixwell Avenue United Church of Christ. As concerned citizens for the history, legacy, and need for a community center, this group has actively pursued - for the last six years - the restructuring and reopening our beloved "Q" House. This commemoration service was held to "Give Back the Love" and succeed in attaining this worthy goal for community.
