KUDOS go to the organizers of the University of Immanuel Young Men's Rites of Passage Program, presented by the Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church,Inc. Their kickoff event was held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 in the church lower hall.The mission is to inspire in African -American Men a connection to African-American history, culture, reality and social responsibility. There will always be a need for every community based institution to fulfill it's purpose and to embrace it's destiny and we salute Immanuel Baptist under the leadership of Reverend Samuel Ross-Lee and his battalion of men servants who recognize that the time is now and that the opportunity has never been greater.
