KEEPING THE TRADITIONS ALIVE-VISUAL SALUTE TO JUNE -ARCHIE-RAY

June Moreland, Ray Nelson and Archie Logan have been keeping the traditions alive for the last few years.

The Third Fridays has become their night to sustain the communal tradition of friendship, fellowship and fun.

Held at various locations throughout New Haven, the "Third Fridays" support local businesses, community institutions and provide opportunities for non-profits to share their mission.

This vital universal reminder perks our weary souls and sings the song that life begins when we come out and let our hair down.Or up, or sideways. Or change color, or wear a hat, no hat. See a longtime friend who has been unseen for several months (or years). Convey stories beyond the water cooler with sharing drink.

Lifting the glass of laughter. Refreshing our collective stories since last seen, renewing, reviving and refreshing.
