In tough economy, marketing a must

TODAY is the 51st running of the Daytona 500 motor race, and two weeks ago was the 43rd Super Bowl. The road race and the football game share a number of business aspects. Each is the crown jewel of their respective sports. The Super Bowl is the end of the professional football season, and the Daytona 500 is the beginning of the NASCAR season. Both events feature the best teams of their respective sports and are viewed by millions of fans both in person and via electronic delivery.
