Legendary PR guru, Terrie Williams, profiled in the PBS documentary "Depression: Out of the Shadows," and author of Black Pain: It Just Looks Like We're Not Hurting, spoke about her battle with clinical depression, and offered real solutions to the problem of depression in the African-American community, and the workplace during a very moving and honest discussion and "communion" at the Yale University Afro-American Cultural Center on Wednesday, February 4, 2009.This event was open to the public and as we embark upon Black History Month, it is noteworthy to reflect upon our individual and collective healing journeys.
