BE SCARED , BE VERY, VERY SCARED

The above picture has been circulating on the internet, with the admonition, that this picture would never have been shown on the Fox cable channel.

( Let me digress for a minute-Okay- what else is new- But have you ever thought about the word FOX- and how the Fox cable channel came into existence with no shame in their game. The channel has been characterized by some as being sly, cunning, deceitful and well foxy as it trumpets the conservative cause)- But anyway, Fox seems to be here to stay.

The caption with this picture was contending that Fox would never broadcast this picture of the presumptive Democratic Party nominee for President of these United States receiving the laid on hands and spirit from a group of ministers in the photograph.

This picture is scary and we need to be scared. Never before in the history of this republic will so many citizens be engaged in the greatest test of American Democracy taking place on November 5th.

Those who are eligible to vote will take a test. Yes multiple choice, but nonetheless a test . Everyone who finds their way to the polling both will be tested in this critical moment of determining the next President of the United States.

This selection will imprint the future and destiny of the United States like never before.

Perhaps I am exaggerating. Perhaps I am just caught up. But those of you who been to a spirit filled church know that it is easy to be caught up, inspired, turned around, spun around, head whizzing, short of breath, heart beating, feet moving- consumed with a force greater than your own.

We are caught up in a frenzy like never before and the aftermath regardless of the outcome might not bode well.

How will the losers react on November 6 ? How will the disappointment be expressed? The next president and everyone around him will be scrutinized and analyzed moment by moment, day in and day out, bombarded with world wide media coverage never before seen on the planet.

Should we be scared or should we plan now for a better day? Are we pre-ordained to suffer through 4 more excruciating years of legislative and executive branch malfunction , self abasement, cat fighting and self-defeating foxiness or will the loser and victor strive for fulfilling the collective interests of the nation?

i ask myself that same question. Would this picture have seen the light of day if it were mccain, or even hillary, praying amid born again christians speaking tongues?

thou ultimately, i like the picture, it may be meant to detract, but the people are going to see him for who he is, a leader not afraid of reaching out and asking for his fellow humans' blessings.

He should have stayed with Rev.Wrigth
It may be 'easier' to be scared or frightened by what may be the ramifications of this photo, and that would be our inclination based on our history; however it is our duty and responsibility now to take the higher ground. We must recognize that f-e-a-r is False Evidence Appearing Real, and discounting that, go forward with courage and determination to summon all positivity in our being to bring into manifestation the new world order. Senator Barack Obama is a key element in this process; and we must support him and encourage him with all that we've got. So, if it is a circle of ministers who are girding him in Spirit in one instance, then great! And let's not dwell on whether some spiritual degenerates, albeit seemingly powerful, may have a negative reaction to something that they perceive as threatening. If so, then, so be it. It is not our problem. Our concern is to help birth this new time in global affairs--one of the reasons why we are all here on this planet at this very time. Let's do what we came here to do with righteousness and gusto, with the conviction that the time for magnificance is upon us.
I'm a bit confused and I'm not quite sure what is the point of this particular blog message, except to ensure excited commentary (you got me:)). When I saw the original photo on the AME website, I don't recall the heading "Be scared, be very, very scared." Scared of what? I don't recall any mention of any one speaking tongues. As momentous as this election is, there is always a winner and a loser. The winners are always jubilant until things settle in and then go into a hopefulness until the next election. The losers are alwas pointing out the foibles of the winner, also hopeful til the next election. A few years ago, ANY praying would have seemed herectical to the polical world.

The question should be ask,How come Obama can go to the Jewish Synagogue and Churches,But can not set foot in a Mosgue? What i am scared of is the bias that Obama shows for other Faiths.
