A Friend of mine mentioned to me that he was having difficulty agreeing to the one family notion that I had discussed in a previous blog. It is just a notion- right?
No question about it if we are honest with ourselves the suggestion that we are all equal members of the same human family can be challenging.
Whether one believes that we all share original DNA or whether one believes that we all share the same original mother from east Africa is probably somewhat of an academic discussion in some quarters.
Is it possible that lions ,leopards, snakes and lizards have evolved and developed the powers similar to the chameleon changing it's colors, and will science discover in the future that "animals"can morph into a human body ?
Stay with me here. Could the example of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly be indicative?
It is after all commonly recognized that we "humans" still retain aspects of the reptilian brain.
So then, let's suppose that the most evolved and vicious animals such as lions and tigers and crocodiles,(not the ones you wear on your feet) eagles and hawks have developed over the eons the capacity to evolve into "humans".
Think about it sometimes you will see people with hawk noses, long flowing hair like a lions mane etc... If an ameba could become a fish, crawl out of the water, walk on all fours, shed skin, lose gills... well you get the picture.
Remember that seeds can sprout in many many varieties. And some would say in infinite varieties)
So lets suppose that we are all still linked from a biological standpoint but continue to demonstrate our innate and evolutionary inherited characteristics ..... Might we all be members of the evolutionary human family demonstrating and exercising our unique and sometimes inherent predatory characteristics ?
Alternatively with the opening of NFL pre-season training camps and with opening day soon descending upon us, perhaps we will just gear up once again to root for the bears or the sea-hawks , the rams or the eagles or the lions !
